The Fort Lauderdale Chapter of ASTD invites you to join us on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 as we recognize outstanding achievement in workplace learning and employee development. This fun, exciting, and information-filled celebration is part of ASTD Employee Learning Week (December 6th – 10th, 2010).
The celebration will provide opportunities for you to:

Learn what local organizations have done to successfully promote employee learning

Hear from leaders in the community about the value of employee learning and development

Network and share best practices with colleagues in workplace learning and performance
The growing skills gap requires organizations to develop a highly skilled workforce. Employee Learning Week is the perfect opportunity for your organization to get involved and highlight your commitment to learning and development.
The chapter is seeking to recognize organizations with workplace learning and performance Best Practices. We encourage you to share the way you promote employee learning in your organization, link training to organizational strategies, and link training to performance improvement outcomes. All nominees will be recognized at the December 10th celebration. In addition, special award levels of Gold, Silver, and Bronze will be presented for the top three Best Practices nominees!

Membership Special
|
|
Membership Special: $60 for an individual membership ($30 for students) if you join the chapter when registering for the workshop. This price reflects a $25 savings. If you are taking advantage of our membership special, we ask that you fill out address, company, phone, etc., where requested on the registration form.
Corporate Membership:
If you take advantage of the Corporate Membership Special, ($150.00 for 3 members, $50 per additional member) upon completing your registration, please go to http://astdftl.org/index.cfm?ID=642. and submit the names of the new members.
Cancellation Policy
In order to honor our contractual commitments with the and keep our event costs at an affordable and consistent rate, we have implemented the following cancellation policy: Cancellations for the December event are accepted no later than Friday, December 3, 2010. If you make a reservation and cannot attend or cancel in time, you will be invoiced. If you have taken advantage of the "membership special" and subsequently cancel your reservation, your reservation fee (less full membership fee of $85) will be refunded. We ask that you keep your membership in good standing by sending your event fee (payable to ASTD Fort Lauderdale Chapter) to: ASTD Fort Lauderdale Chapter, PO Box 8802, Coral Springs, FL 33075.
