| The Protégé |
 |
Protégés can be individuals new to the Training and Development industry, or experienced professionals looking to change the path of their career or learn new skills. To become a Protégé the following criteria must be met: |
- Be an ASTD Fort Lauderdale chapter member
- Be willing to set and actively work toward achieving goals
- Be willing to give back to the chapter in 2011 by serving on a committee or in a Board support role

| The Mentor |
 |
Mentors can be individuals looking for opportunities to give back to ASTD, experienced professionals looking to sharpen their own skills as they teach others, or training professionals looking for renewed confidence and motivation to achieve their own goals. To be a Mentor the following criteria must be met:

- Be an ASTD Fort Lauderdale chapter member
- Have the ability to spend a minimum of one to two hours per month with protégé between April and October, 2010 to work with protégé toward achieving professional goals

| Mentorship Program Event Schedule |

- Attend one Mentorship Orientation webinar — Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at 4:30 p.m. or Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at 1 p.m. (Step 1).
- Complete a Mentor or Protégé Profile form after you complete the orientation by April 16, 2010. The form will be emailed to you to complete with instructions (Step 2).
- Attend the Mentorship Matching Event, Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 8:30 a.m. (Step 3). This is a mandatory meeting, so please mark your calendars now!
- Participate in two group learning/sharing Program Events to be held in both June and September (dates TBD) in the evening.
- Attend Graduation Event, Tuesday, November 9, 2010, 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (at our regular monthly chapter meeting).
