ASTD Fort Lauderdale’s Bonus Buck’s Program

The Fort Lauderdale ASTD chapter has created a new Bonus Bucks program exclusively for our members! Bonus Bucks are our local “chapter currency” that can be earned in a number of ways (see below), and used towards bidding on many valuable prizes in our annual Silent Auction held at the November monthly meeting and throughout the year on specials. The Silent Auction offers items ranging from free coaching sessions, books, electronic and entertainment items, memberships, gift baskets and gift certificates for local businesses such as restaurants, spas and shows. The only way to bid and win these items is with Bonus Bucks, so the more you earn the better your chances to win great prizes! Plus, you will be able to use the Bonus Bucks to get a discount on books offered at our chapter’s book store.

How Can you Earn Bonus Bucks?

As members of the Fort Lauderdale ASTD chapter, you have many opportunities to earn Bonus Bucks:

• $ 50 Attending program
• $ 50 Registering during the early registration period
• $ 50 Turning in meeting evaluation
• $ ?? Volunteering, will vary depending on task
• $ 50 Donating items to the silent auction (for each donated item/service)
• $ 50 Using your Chapter Chip code when purchasing items on www.astd.org
• $ 50 Renewing your membership
• $ 250 Being a local AND national member
• $ 250 Bringing a guest to a meeting
• $ 500 Bring a new paying member
• $ 500 Sponsoring an event
