Program
Do you avoid using experiential learning activities because they take too much time to design and deliver? Then try using jolts instead. These efficient exercises can be conducted in just a few minutes to give long-lasting wake-up calls and powerful insights. In this field-tested workshop, experience, explore, design, develop, evaluate, and revise a variety of jolts. Return to your workplace with a collection of multipurpose jolts and the competencies related to designing and facilitating your own jolts.

Program
Are you still using your grandparents' instructional-design model?

Fifteen years ago, Thiagi stopped using the ADDIE model and started using a continuous, concurrent, creative, co-design approach. Thiagi's associates and hundreds of trainees around the world have used this approach to design corporate training materials faster, cheaper, and better. In this walk-the-talk workshop learn when, why, and how to apply principles from chaos, creativity, and self-organizing complex systems to develop instruction for the next generation. Also learn these specific skills:

  • Apply proven principles from a variety of disciplines to the design of high-quality accomplishment-based training materials and methods.
  • Use a variety of templates to structure content and to design appropriate learning activities.
  • Redefine the role of learners and participants to require and reward greater participation in the learning process.
  • Rapidly design training packages by ignoring, combining, re-sequencing, and accelerating the traditional steps the process.
